You’ll get access to the course portal and begin onboarding immediately when you join. We’ll start our 8 weeks together when the doors open again on September 20, 2022!

What’s so great about this system is that it doesn’t require a lot of time. It will actually save you time because you will have step-by-step instructions to get it all done. Plan to spend 30-60 minutes on each lesson.

The program is designed so that you can launch your business in 30 days, but life/stuff happens, so I’ve built in an extra month for catch up and completion.

If something comes up and you aren’t able to finish during the live portion of the program, no worries! While our calls and your time in the community will be over after 8 weeks, you’ll always have access to the course trainings, worksheets, and templates.

Nope! You can upgrade to paid-for/pro versions if you choose, but for this program only the FREE versions of all of the tools, themes and plugins are used.

The only things you’ll need to buy are your domain name which runs about $10-$15/yr and your web hosting which is $7/mo for the first year.

I recommend and teach this tech stack inside of Simple Start. However, you can certainly use other hosts, platforms, and plugins that you may already know if you prefer.

My goal is for you to walk away with a website that can be extended to continue working for you as your business grows. I use WordPress because it is the most robust and limitless of all the platforms available.

You may hear people say that WordPress is difficult to maintain and upkeep, but that’s simply not true if you use a great web host and an easy-to-use page builder (as you’ll learn in the Simple Start program). Also, with WordPress you only have to pay for hosting, there’s no monthly fee, and your website is yours to move freely and adapt as needed.

While this program covers the specifics of working in WordPress, you can take everything you create in this program (your messaging, logo, color palette, imagery, and copy) and implement using any platform you choose.

Of course! There are 3 templates to choose from to use as a base for your site:

Design A
Design B
Design C

Inside of Simple Start you’ll learn how to customize each template and also how to change, add, and delete sections as needed.

You’ll create a truly unique website that fits your needs and desires and stands out to your dream clients.

Yes! If you are willing to put the effort into the program and ask questions along the way if you get stuck, you’ll have all the know-how needed to create your brand and website.

Great question! Because you’ll be setting up your website with the WordPress platform, an online store can easily be added using the free plugin, WooCommerce (there’s a bonus training inside of Simple Start that will show you step-by-step how to set this up).

Another option is to simply add a link to an external store platform like Etsy or Shopify.

While Simple Start isn’t a one-on-one coaching program, I’ll be working with you closely providing feedback, support, tech help, and answering comments in our community as well as answering questions on the live Q&A and Critique calls each week.

If you want to hire me for one-on-one coaching and strategy, please book a strategy call.

You will be directed to a welcome page and your login credentials will arrive in your inbox shortly as well. Once you have your login details, you can get started with the onboarding process!
